Our Care Services

At Rottingdean Nursing Home, we offer 24 hour quality nursing care for the over 65’s providing a permanent home from home for residents. Our team have a wealth of experience between them to give our residents all they need. The health, safety and well-being of our staff and residents are our main priority.

Our nurses are able to look after each individual from the beginning of their journey until the end. Each of our residents rooms are furnished with the equipment needed - including adjustable hospital beds, specialist mattresses and call bells. We have an electronic care plan system showing accurate and up to date records, enabling our care staff to accurately meet the residents needs and wishes

Our care is based on a person-centred approach. Each individual has their own qualities and unique ways and we therefore tailor care to their needs with a friendly and supportive approach. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items to their rooms to provide a more homely feel - from treasured pictures, to pieces of furniture that can bring meaning to their space.

At Rottingdean Nursing Home we aim to keep residents as mobile and innovated as possible and have a physiotherapist that visits regularly to assist with our resident’s needs. We are in constant contact with our local doctors surgery and have a weekly ward round. Our team also works closely with many local services and community professionals including occupational therapists, speech and language, GP’s, TVN’s, Speech and Language, Tissue Viability, Memory Assessment and the Martlets, to ensure the very best outcomes. Regular visitors to the home include hairdressers, physiotherapists and chiropodists.

The majority of our staff here at Rottingdean Nursing Home have been with us for many years, creating consistency for the residents and with minimal agency cover.
